Sizing Guide

These collars are made to last a long time, so we want to make sure the fit is right from the very beginning! Taking a few extra minutes to measure now helps ensure your dog is comfortable and means you won’t have to worry about replacing or resizing later.

Find Your Size From an Existing Collar:

  1. Select a collar that fits your pup well.

  2. Place the collar on a flat surface.

-For a traditional buckle collar: Measure from the end of the collar (not including the buckle) to your dog's best fitting hole.

-For a side release collar: Measure from end to end.

  3. Round to the nearest size. If between two sizes, size up or get custom size.

Find Your Size Using a Soft Tape Measure / String:

  1. Use a soft measuring tape or find a piece of string long enough to encircle your dogs neck

  2. Have your dog sit.

  3. Place the string around the neck- resting snug, just above the shoulders.

  4. Pinch where the string meets itself, remove it, and measure the length flat on the table.

Once you have your dog’s neck measurement, look over our size chart to find the closest fit.

If your pup falls right into a size, perfect! If they’re in between sizes, no worries at all—that’s exactly what our Build Your Own Collar is for.
